Golf Lesson Curriculum in St. Louis, MO
At Heartland Golf Schools, we build every 3-day program around a single idea: consistency wins. Our curriculum focuses on each of the four aspects of your game: putting, chipping, approach shots, and the full swing — and we tailor every lesson to your current skill level so you leave with measurable improvement and a repeatable swing.
Consistency Is Key
Lower scores rarely come from one big swing change. Instead, they come from clarity and doing the right things, repeatedly. For this reason, we engineer our curriculum around the four essentials that produce consistency. While these essentials apply to players from beginner to advanced golfers, we adapt the instruction to each player's skill level and expectations.
What You'll Learn
Putting
Green reading, distance control, stroke mechanics, and pre-shot routine. In fact, most amateur golfers leave 3–6 strokes on the green every round. As a result, you'll acquire skills to close that gap.
Chipping & Approach Shots
Club selection, contact, trajectory control, and recovery from common trouble lies. The scoring zone inside 125 yards accounts for the biggest difference in golfers' scoring; we dedicate significant time here.
Full Swing
Setup, grip, posture, plane, tempo, and ball flight control. Within just these three days, the swing you'll develop becomes consistent enough for you to detect the variations that produce less than satisfactory results.
These fundamentals follow the Manuel de la Torre swing method, the philosophy at the heart of our instruction.
Personalized for Every Skill Level
No two golfers arrive with the same swing, the same goals, or the same time horizon. We also limit classes to four players, so Ed can adapt the curriculum to where your game actually is today. Find your level below to see what to expect:
